Chris is Senior Future Mobility Developer at Transport for West Midlands. He joined in 2020, after securing a distinction in transport planning and engineering from the University of Southampton.
On the Congress delivery team, he coordinates between ERTICO, UK industry stakeholders, and West Midlands Combined Authority marketing teams. He also contributes to host communications planning, messaging, and content production, drawing on a seven-year product marketing career in the education technology sector.
When not working on the Congress, Chris leads the delivery of the region’s mobility hub and Kids Streets programmes as part of TfWM’s Active Travel Delivery Team.
He’s become an active member of the global transport technology community as part of the journey to Birmingham 2027, including participation in the 2026 European Congress in Istanbul as a special interest session speaker and as rapporteur.
