Katie is a Transport Innovation Project Co-ordinator at Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), where she supports the delivery of projects that bring together transport and innovation, connecting with different sectors and age groups along the way.
On the Congress delivery team, Katie supports the host advisory groups and the development of features to engage young people. This includes the ITS Curiosity Box – a schools’ outreach project being led alongside the Congress that’s will provide school pupils with a hands-on and accessible learning experience that makes the link between transport technology and STEM subjects.
When not working on the Congress, Katie runs the Innovative Transport Working Group, collaborating with partners across multiple sectors, and has a particular passion for helping young people explore careers in transport and technology.
She’s currently working towards an APM Project Management qualification, while building a experience in project delivery, governance and stakeholder engagement.
